After the exam on August 3, 2025, and the expected result date of September 3, 2025, the focus shifts to the counselling process managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All-India Quota seats.

Round 1 Quick Overview

1. Registration: Registration for Round 1 was open from 17th October 2025 to 5th November 2025, until 12:00 noon on the final day.

2. Choice Filling and Locking: Choice Filling for Round 1 took place from 17th November 2025 to 18th November 2025 (up to 11:55 PM), while Choice Locking was available from 4:00 PM on 18th November 2025 until 11:55 PM on 21st November 2025.

3. Result: The Round 1 result was announced on 22nd November 2025.

4. Last date of joining: The last date for candidates to join the allotted institute was 27th November 2025.

Registration on the MCC Portal

• Visit the PG Medical Counselling section on the MCC website

• Create/login to your account using NEET credentials.

Steps to Fill Your Preferences on MCC’s NEET PG 2025 Portal

Step 1: Visit the Official MCC Website

Go to mcc.nic.in and open the PG Medical Counselling section.

Step 2: Log In to Your Account

Enter your NEET PG 2025 credentials: Roll Number, Password, and any required security details.

Step 3: Open the Choice Filling Page

After logging in, click on the Choice Filling tab to see the complete list of available colleges and courses.

Step 4: Add Your Preferences

Select your desired courses and institutions from the list, then click Add to include them in your preference list.

Step 5: Arrange in Order of Priority

Reorder your list by moving the most preferred options to the top. This increases your chances of getting your desired seat.

Step 6: Save & Double-Check

Click Save to record your preferences. Review carefully and make changes if needed before final locking.

Step 7: Lock Your Choices

Once satisfied, click Lock before the deadline. After locking, no changes will be allowed, so ensure your list is final.

Seat Allotment Process

• Allotment takes your NEET PG rank, preferences, availability, and reservation criteria into consideration

• Round-wise allotment:

             ii. Mop-Up & Stray Vacancies: For vacant seats after initial rounds

• After allotment, download the allotment letter and report to the instituted institution with documents.
