The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh conducts the state NEET UG counselling process.
The counselling is carried out through the official DME MP online portal and covers admissions to MBBS and BDS courses. Candidates must complete registration, document submission, choice filling and other required steps through the portal within the prescribed deadlines.
The 15% All India Quota seats in government medical colleges are handled separately through MCC counselling. DME Madhya Pradesh conducts counselling for the seats falling under its state counselling process, including the applicable state quota and private college seats as notified.

Steps to Register

MP NEET UG counselling is conducted in multiple rounds to fill available MBBS and BDS seats.
All eligible candidates who complete registration can participate in Round 1. Candidates fill and lock their preferred colleges and courses, after which DME conducts seat allotment.
Candidates who do not receive a seat in Round 1 or those eligible for upgradation can participate according to the rules notified for the round. The exact 2026 schedule and eligibility conditions will be announced by DME.
A further round may be conducted to fill seats remaining vacant after the earlier rounds. Eligibility and participation rules are determined by the counselling authority.
Any seats remaining vacant after the regular counselling rounds may be filled through a stray vacancy process, subject to DME and applicable regulatory rules.
