CENTAC to Start NEET Counselling as Per MCC Timelines:

The Medical Counselling Committee’s (MCC) dates for the start of NEET counselling sessions for UG and PG NEET courses for the academic year 2024-25 will be notified by CENTAC.

The announcement comes after the National Testing Agency (NTA) just released the NEET UG 2024 results, which has many students concerned about the dates of the NEET counselling sessions.

NEET Counselling Sessions and Information Bulletin:

Students have been approaching the CENTAC office for information about the 2024–25 academic year timetable and when UG NEET counselling will begin. CENTAC stated that an information bulletin will be posted on their website soon.

The bulletin will incorporate all the information on the NEET counselling process when it is approved by the government.

CENTAC aims to make the counselling process transparent and fair, with minimal human intervention. They plan to maximize accessibility through online resources, making all necessary information available on their portal.

NEET UG 2024 Results:

The NTA recently declared the NEET UG results, showing that 56.4% of the applicants were eligible to take the counselling. Notably, 67 applicants passed the MBBS admission exam with the highest marks. Among these top candidates, 11 are from Rajasthan, eight from Tamil Nadu, and seven from Maharashtra.

Upcoming NEET PG Exam:

NEET PG will take place at various locations nationwide on June 23, 2024, using a computer-based platform. The results for NEET PG will be published on July 15, 2024.
