29 Jul 2024

Today, July 29, 2024, is the day when the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will release the exam city allocation data for the NEET PG 2024.
This information will be sent straight to the candidates’ registered email addresses. The official exam website won’t have the information.
NBEMS will send information on the selected exam city to candidates on July 29, 2024. The admit card, which will be available on the NBEMS website on August 8, 2024, will detail the exact test center location within the selected city.
According to the official notice, “We will communicate the allocated test city to all concerned candidates through email on July 29, 2024, at their registered email IDs.”

The notice explains that if the number of available exam cities in a candidate’s state or UT of correspondence address is fewer than four, or if the demand for testing seats exceeds the available capacity, candidates will have the option to choose from nearby states or UTs. NBEMS will allocate the exam city randomly from the options provided by the candidates.
However, if overcapacity, logistical, administrative, or security issues arise, candidates might not receive their preferred exam cities. In these cases, we will assign them to the nearest available locations.
If no exam center is available within the candidate’s state of correspondence or in an adjoining state, we will assign a center anywhere in the country based on availability.
If candidates do not provide any preferences for exam cities during the online window, NBEMS will automatically allocate them a test center anywhere in the country.
